GRE ARGUMENT

“MANNED SPACE FLIGHT IS COSTLY AND DANGEROUS. MOREOVER, THE RECENT SUCCESS OF A SERIES OF UNMANNED SPACE PROBES AND SATELLITES HAS DEMONSTRATED THAT A GREAT DEAL OF USEFUL INFORMATION CAN BE GATHERED WITHOUT THE COSTS AND RISKS ASOCIATED WITH SENDING MEN AND WOMEN INTO SPACE. THEREFORE, WE SHOULD INVEST OUR RESOUCES IN UNMANNED SPACE FLIGHTS.” The argument is about investing resources in unmanned space flight instead of manned space flight because manned flight is costly and dangerous. This argument is not a good argument because the conclusion is not made based on the evidence. Firstly, the argument does not specify what kind of information is gathered by manned and unmanned space flights. Unmanned space flights may not provide the same kind of information that manned space flights. As man can look and analyze the things better, we cannot claim that manned flights will provide more useful information. Secondly, the argument shows no data of previous years information gather

"MEN AND WOMEN, BECAUSE OF THEIR INHERENT PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES, ARE NOT EQUALLY SUITED FOR MANY TASKS" Men and women are born with their own uniqueness which can not imply that they are not equally suited for many tasks. I do not agree to the claim that men and women, because of their inherent physical differences, are not equally suited for many tasks. For example, men and women can work in same workplace and do all the tasks that a man can do with the same ease and efficiency. In any company all men and women are hired for the same tasks there is no specific designation of task based on their physical difference or based on their gender. Similarly, in any hospital the hospital will not create a vacancy for female doctor or male doctor they rather create vacancy for a doctor. Here they are equally suited for the job. We cannot claim that they are not equally suited for the task because no any task is created specifically for men or women. They are categorized bas

"Scandals-whether in politics, academia, or other area-can be useful. They focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could."   Scandals exist in every society whether it is related to a person or society. Scandals can be useful in politics, media or academia by various ways. They show how the scandalous person, politics or academia can promote them by the help of those scandals. For an example, a scandal happened in a political party, this create a great publicity of them which is most required in politics during an election, this can be useful for one and at the same time not useful to another. After a scandal the political party can now see the problems and then be more cautious in future so, that these things will not happen again. In this sense scandals can be useful as the person or political party or whoever is involved can know their weakness and in future, they can correct them. Also, in media scandals can be useful. For ex
